Goodwill and good food! We learned so much about the diverse cultural heritages of our team members at our potluck lunch to honor World Day for Cultural Diversity. Sharing our food traditions opens up rich conversations around our shared experiences while celebrating the differences in our backgrounds – we enjoyed Gratia’s Irish Champ, Elena’s Adobo and Pancit, Juan and Mario’s Tamales, Sarita’s Flan, Lisa’s Potato and Leek Stew, Jim’s Scones, Daniela’s Salpicon, Janet’s Paczki and many more delicious family recipes from around the world.
