If a jam-packed garage or overflowing closets are creating summer stress, carve out some time to declutter and coast through the rest of the sunny season with a clean, clear space. Our friend Trista from Third Eye Tidy shares four simple steps for your summer clutter cleanse:
- Visualize how you want your space to make you feel
- Choose a category you want to work on
- Assess how each item in that category makes you feel
- Donate the items that don’t bring you joy
Trista recently helped Teresa to reduce the anxiety that her closet was creating (check out the before and after pics!). After removing all of the items and evaluating them piece by piece, they donated over ten bags of clothing to Goodwill. WOW – well done! It only took a couple of hours, and at the end Teresa shared that the process was actually a lot of fun.
