There are certain items that we regretfully cannot accept for resale or salvage. Please refer to the list below to see if your item falls into these categories.
Also, we suggest checking the Consumer Product Safety Commission site for any items that you believe may have been recalled. Many goods that we normally welcome, including toys, baby furniture, or clothing, may be under recall. We appreciate your understanding and efforts prior to donation!
We cannot accept the following items:
Large appliances such as refrigerators and stoves
Auto parts (used)
Car seats/infant carriers
Pack ‘n plays
Mattresses (stained, ripped,
hotel, without tag, or
manufactured before 2007)
Mirrors without frames
Plumbing fixtures (used)
Storm windows/storm doors
All non-working items*
Fax machines (stand alone)
Halogen lamps (without guard)
*We gladly accept computer equipment in any condition
Damaged furniture (any pieces stained,
ripped, worn, with missing parts, or
in poor condition)
Toy chests (with hinges and/or lock)
Oil, including lamp oil
Central heating/cooling units
Ping-pong tables (regulation size)
Pool tables (regulation size)
Food (if perishable)
Pianos and organs
